Abia state polytechnic Aba, are now on the streets of Aba protesting in solidarity with their lecturers and non academic staffs over 11 months of non payment of salaries, which gave raise to the ongoing indefinite strike.
Is the protest a welcome development?
Is the protest not against the Abia state polytechnic constitution of the students Union government (SUG) Article xxxix, section 1:
"The union shall not demonstrate to commemorate the N.U.N.S. crisis 1978 known as " Ali must Go".
